Please stop killing yourself slowly.
Do you feel sorry for yourself and speak harsh words concerning your body, mind and your entire self?

Believe it or not, I have. We all have.
I have questioned my Creator, my parents and lovers, all the tears and self pity eventually piled up. Eventually the bank of funds and positivity ran out and no matter what anyone said, If I didn’t put in my own deposit, I’d be spiritually bankrupt.

Hello 👋🏾 there beautiful soul.
You are not alone.
Your feelings are real and valid.
Take notice of it and fight like hell to kick the evil self talk in the jugular.
We are not going easy on self malicious talk.

There is community everywhere and I’ve started sharing my my thoughts and healing journey online. I haven’t arrived at this high level of security with a bad ass cape (yet). However I am reminded daily that my life matters – my body is no secret – and while I’m here, I want to tell myself and whoever is listening that it’s important to make a difference, make a ripple in the pool of life.

If you want to be the person you enjoy being around and want to be HERE, you and I must repeat Kind Words to Ourselves daily.

  • I am beautiful.
  • I am enough.
  • I am born for more.
  • My life matters. I am loved.
  • I am whole. I am available to be the love I want to receive in the world.
  • I have something to offer. I am purpose driven.
  • I am aware. I am observant. I care.
  • I can strong enough for the task.
  • I am capable of doing anything I set my mind and hands to do.
  • There are no limits. The Universe is waiting for me to decide.
  • I don’t know how, but I do know what, and the rest will be possible with each small step I take.

It may feel odd and first, but if you really want it, you’ll be the warrior you’ve always wanted. Repeating affirmations even though you don’t always believe is the first step.

The people you see with high self esteems are in an active relationship with themselves. There is no auto pilot with self work, no short cuts.

In my life, it’s a relationship where I affirm myself, I learn to trust myself by following through with promises and I speak highly of myself. I allow myself to feel whatever flows naturally. When I’m sad, I admit I’m sad and sit in it. When I’m insecure, I ask why and I allow the feeling to come and go.

The real test is allowing people to see me and look at me in public, I can only control how I react — letting go of control and being at peace with what happens is the lesson, surrendering and being vulnerable. There you’ll find growth, transformation and genuine connections. I decide how I feel about myself.

We all have a story. We all have a novel within us worth sharing. We have lived lives that others don’t know and cannot see just by passing us by. I absolutely love stories and I’m deeply interested in the human experience.
By sharing and encouraging others, we can find the courage to stand up straight with our shoulders back and face the world unapologetically.
